Winter sharing at Cedar Bay
Nordic ski tracks are for skiing only. Stay off classic grooves and skate lanes; use signed crossings with care.
Trail Etiquette
Help protect our grooming and keep everyone safe and smiling.
🛡️ Respect closures & signage
Obey one‑way sections and temporary closures during wet conditions or maintenance. Never enter restricted areas.
❄️ Winter sharing
Stay off groomed ski tracks; use packed fatbike/snowshoe routes and posted crossings only.
⏱️ Yield & pass with care
Bikers yield to pedestrians and horses. Slow to walking speed when passing; call out kindly and give space.
🌡️ Be prepared
Bring water, tools/tube (summer) or repair kit (winter), basic first aid, and a charged phone. Share your plan.
🚲 Ride light on the land
Don’t ride muddy trails; avoid skidding. Stay on the tread to protect vegetation and prevent trail widening.
🗺️ Know your route
Start small; check maps at the trailhead and online resources. Tell someone where you’re going.
