Friends of Cedar Bay is a non-profit organization of volunteer community members committed to the revitalization of the Cedar Bay Outdoor Recreation Complex, a Municipally-owned facility located along the shore of Pelican Lake in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. The public facility comprises a horse stable and paddocks, 8 log cabins situated along 700 metres of lakeshore, a sand beach and a playing field. The facility is surrounded by forest and a 15 km. network of nordic ski trails.
Friends of Cedar Bay is comprised of a volunteer board of directors and two sub committees: 1) the Equestrian committee and 2) the Lakeshore Committee.

Our mission:

To revitalize the Cedar Bay facility so that it is safe and accessible to the public and may be used for education, recreation and leisure activities by all.
